Responsive images - Media folder - some images not resized

I’m still getting full-size images in the media folder.

  1. I’m confident that I’m not linking to the full-size images anywhere in my code.

  2. I have not used the Panel.

  3. The content folder is not accessible.

  4. I doubt anyone is linking to the (full-size) images from elsewhere on the web. And I have turned on hotlinking protection in my Cpanel, to prevent this.

What’s really odd is the full-size images that have appeared in the Media folder in the last few days, are from a case study that is published, but not listed or linked to from anywhere else on the site. And according to my analytics no one has visited this page.

I guess this suggests hotlinking of the images?

I’ve just tried to hotlink one of my images on a different site and the image didn’t display, which suggests the Cpanel hotlinking protection works.

Bit flummoxed.
