PHP error this morning

So I got this error when checking my website today. I checked with my host and I am on PHP version 8.3 which is supposed to work with Kirby 4. I am not 100% sure which version of Kirby 4 I am on since I can’t check in my panel. But I believe I was on 4.0.3. I don’t understand why I got this error.

"This page is currently offline. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and will fix it as soon as possible.

Advice for developers and administrators:
Change the PHP version to one supported by your version of Kirby"

Make sure you are really on PHP 8.1+

I will call my hosting provider and check with them. But it worked for the past months and all of a sudden this morning it gave me that error. Maybe my hosting provider made some changes but I checked and I was on PHP 8.3…

That is very likely, they often do.

Ok so my host did some updates and it reverted me back to PHP 7.4. They changed it back and it works now.
