Panel blocks flip order

Hi there,

In a blocks field, is there a way to create a new block and immediately display it at the top of the list?

I want to use blocks for a news page and the latest published news should be at the top of the page. I can flip them for the front but I would like to have the same thing in the panel.

No, but you can use insertBefore, see Using the blocks field | Kirby CMS

Yes InsertBefore works well but requires a bit of complex handling. I’ll prefer to use pages in this case.

I think that makes more sense in the long run anyway, unless you will have only a very small blog.
