Kirby v2 - SMTP?

Hello all. Quick question regarding Kiby v2’s email helper what-have-you, does it support sending via SMTP? I know v3’s email helper does and that’s sweet, but I’m not up for upgrading the site (looks kinda scary). I think I’ll update existing v2 sites when I rebuild the site from scratch. Anyway… thanks in advance.

Yes, you can use SMTP, using PHPMailer, which is not included.

Send emails using PHPMailer
