Kirby 4.0.3 is here!

Happy new year everyone!

We start smoothly with a small patch release:
https://github.com/getkirby/kirby/releases/tag/4.0.3

In this release:

:woman_technologist: DDEV development environments are now treated as local and allow setting up the Panel by default
:key: Kirby 3 licenses can now activated from the Kirby 4 Panel to allow direct renewal
:globe_with_meridians: Updated translations (de, it, pt_BR, pt_PT, tr)
:bug: No more deprecation warning when passing empty string to Url::short()

Thanks for the little update.

Is it a pre-release version? Regarding the display, I’m a little unsure whether I can already use this version in production…

unreleased

No, it is release. Have you cleared the cache?

Yes. Tested local with MAMP.

:wastebasket: media
:wastebasket: site/cache
:wastebasket: site/sessions

4.0.2 shows everything correctly, but there is no indication of an update:

Hm, ok, then probably a caching problem on our side…

Clearing site/cache/updates again should now resolve this issue. Was an issue with our CDN

Just a quick question. I can’t see the information in Kirby 4 docs.

When we update to minor versions such as 4.01 to 4.03, do we just unzip the update file and copy paste the files on the server? I’m guessing, that’s all there is to do? No upgrade script required?

Thanks!

Yes, download the kirby folder and dopy to server. Clear cache and media folder (at least the Panel related files in there)

So I upload the files to server and delete everything in /media and in /site/cache

I’m guessing it will repopulate once I log back in my panel?

Exactly.
