Default block values for newly created pages

Hi all - Is there a way to setup default values for blocks in a blueprint so that when I create a new page based on said template then the blocks appear as a structure to work from. For example, if I want 3 custom blocks to show on all ‘case study’ pages, when a user adds a new case studies page these 3 blocks appear with dummy text ready to edit. It would just be easier to form a structure rather than having them go through and add 3 blocks.

These values would depend on the blueprint pages, so can’t be parsed at block level, but rather page level.

Thanks @texnixe - I’d tried the examples with no luck and had assumed this possible only related to non-custom blocks, but then realised I have to test it on brand new pages added to the panels, as refreshing and reverting on an existing blueprint stills leaves a blank entry for that field and therefore means I can’t test.

Right, default values don’t work for existing pages, whether it’s a blocks field or any other field.
