Hi there,

What are the correct/best way of creating a custom form field for the panel?
Like a “plugin” or like a “custom form field” ?
What I can see regarding the docs so is the plugin way of doing it more powerful, with more ways of extending it… ?

Well, you can register fields with a plugin and a lot more, yes. But if you only want to create a custom field, and not a field that is part of something bigger, I’d create a custom form field.
