Hi,

I’d like to discuss how missing required fields are reported when a user saves a page in the panel.

Currently, required fields are indicated by small red crosses next to their labels. When the user saves the page and a required field has not been filled in, they only get a pop-up with the message: “Please fix all form errors…”.

I find it difficult for users to identify which required fields they have missed, especially since some of my blueprints contain a large number of fields. If the required field is nested inside a structure or object field, it becomes even harder to locate.

When trying to change the status of a draft page while some required fields are missing, however, the error pop-up includes information about which fields have not been filled in.

Is it possible to have the same kind of information, specifically, a list or indication of the missing required fields, in the pop-up displayed when saving a page?

That’s indeed a bug. Will add a fix in 5.6.1 ~~or 5.6.2~~.
