# Markdown displayed as plaintext

Hi everyone. I just completed my first project, and everything went super smoothly until handing off to the client.

After they uploaded the project to their own server (with the content I created through the Kirby panel), the markdown is displaying as unformatted text. Any ideas what could be causing this?

**Edit:** Turns out the client dev made an alteration and forgot to add -\>kirbytext(), all good now!
