# Kirby and a Forum?

Hello everyone!
I have a question. Can I add to my Kirby a Forum Extension, Module, Plugin or another?.. Thanks for Help!

I don´t know about a forum based on kirby except the old kirby forum. But the old forum has been given up for good reasons (I think).
I think that it´s better to set up a forum on a separate subdomain (as you can see here).
And as you can see on the [kirby blog](http://getkirby.com/blog/) there seems to be a plugin for a discourse forum to use it as a comment section too.

only for explanation, the old forum was realized width an DB connection inside Kirby.
