Do you mean to say that $future and $present work as expected but $past does not?

The code looks OK to me and should work.

actually, none of these work as expected. before, it would do like this:

27.01.17-30.04.17
Eventtitle
&
Eventtitle2

10.12.16 - 31.12.16
Eventtitle3

Now:

Eventtitle
Eventtitle2
Eventtitle3

Dates are missing and no grouping, but all in one group (if past, present or future…)
