Dependable select (drop)boxes how?

Hi,
Trying to figure out how to realise 2 depending (parent/child, master/slave) select boxes (dropdowns).

Both dropboxes should be dynamically populated.
Selecting a value in the parent selectbox should update the child selectbox…

Is there a native Kirbycms approach,
Is it possible without using vue.js

Somebody has some directions?

That could be a start! I just wonder if it couldn’t be done with php blueprints without touching vue!
